Champion Ivan Lendl presents in London the Superga® Sport Lendl, the tennis shoe with the unmistakable “swallow’s tail” logo he wore to win countless matches during his career
London, June 29th, 2017. Superga® is proud to announce a collaboration with Ivan Lendl. In the afternoon of Thursday, June 29th at Petersham Nurseries (Church Lane, Petersham Road, Richmond) – the famous tennis player will meet the press and present the new Superga® Sport Lendl sneaker: the same design he wore during his career to play and win countless matches.

Winner of eight Grand Slam titles and four times ITF world champion, Lendl dominated ATP rankings in the second half of the 80s. At the end of his career he was the player who had been ranked number one the longest, 270 weeks. He won 94 tournaments, plus another 50 outside the ATP circuit, and six doubles. In 2001 he was added to the International Tennis Hall of Fame, celebrating the best tennis players of all times.
Along with their renowned perforated “swallow’s tail” logo designed in 1970 for the brand’s sports line, the new Superga® Sport Lendl feature all the original characteristics: eco-leather upper, printed rubber sole, Superga® Sport logo on the tongue, and the champion’s signature on the back.
