 On Thursday, March 15th, Superga® and ALEXACHUNG celebrated the launch of their sneaker collaboration with a cocktail party in the renowned Butcher’s Daughter. Music was provided by DJ Myles Hendrik.

The ALEXACHUNG and Superga® collaboration is a capsule collection which reinterprets the classic Superga® silhouette (2750, mid cut and mule) with different textures and colours. The design process combined a range of distinctive fabrics; varnish, satin, cotton and terry towel and feminine tones including off white, burgundy and sky blue. The result is a combination of classy and rock’n’roll, where the ALEXACHUNG essence shines through with timeless Superga® styles.

Superga announces a collaborative collection with model and musician Pyper America for AW 17

         


Following the success of the SS17 Campaign Superga are pleased to announce the model and musician, Pyper America to continue as the face of the brand for Autumn / Winter ’17 as well as launching its own collection with the footwear brand. Alongside being the face of Superga , Pyper has designed four styles , which will highlight key pieces for the season. The collection features ‘American Dream’ stitching, star motifs, pink suede and black velvet to reflect on Pyper’s music rock and roll heritage and mood.

Along with the Superga partnership, Pyper has sat front row and graced the catwalks for various designers across the globe including Dolce & Gabbana, Moschino and Giorgio Armani. She has starred in campaigns for Calvin Klein and Moncler and has recently been named as the official ambassador for OPI. Pyper also plays the bass in the band The Atomics. Currently represented by NEXT Management, Pyper follows on from the previous Superga campaigns with Abbey Lee, Alexa Chung, Rita Ora, Suki Waterhouse and Binx Walton.

ln 2017 Superga presents its last coup: a design collaboration with the most famous German fashion blogger Caro Daur. ln the Superga Headquarter in Turin, Caro Daur dsigned her own shoe collection based on the Superga 2750. Thus, Caro Daur is the first German who became part of the design process and stands up with international figures.

The result – three sneakers branded on the inner sole made of lacquer, one white and one beige Superga 2750 as well as a white one with platforms.

The Collection shooting took place at one of the most famous desert landscapes near LA. where the well-known photographer Lina Tesch created the perfect setting to presenting the new Superga collection worn by Caro Daur.

Champion Ivan Lendl presents in London the Superga® Sport Lendl, the tennis shoe with the unmistakable “swallow’s tail” logo he wore to win countless matches during his career

London, June 29th, 2017. Superga® is proud to announce a collaboration with Ivan Lendl. In the afternoon of Thursday, June 29th at Petersham Nurseries (Church Lane, Petersham Road, Richmond) – the famous tennis player will meet the press and present the new Superga® Sport Lendl sneaker: the same design he wore during his career to play and win countless matches.

Ivan Lendl: “I am very excited about the new Superga® Lendl collection. The designs and styles are fantastic. I am really looking forward to working with Superga® on this project“.

Winner of eight Grand Slam titles and four times ITF world champion, Lendl dominated ATP rankings in the second half of the 80s. At the end of his career he was the player who had been ranked number one the longest, 270 weeks. He won 94 tournaments, plus another 50 outside the ATP circuit, and six doubles. In 2001 he was added to the International Tennis Hall of Fame, celebrating the best tennis players of all times.

Along with their renowned perforated “swallow’s tail” logo designed in 1970 for the brand’s sports line, the new Superga® Sport Lendl feature all the original characteristics: eco-leather upper, printed rubber sole, Superga® Sport logo on the tongue, and the champion’s signature on the back.

Australian born actress Abbey Lee is known globally for her acting and legendary street style. She most recently starred in Mad Max, Fury Road in 2015 and will star in Neon Demon with Keanu Reeves, Elle Fanning and Christina Hendricks and Gods of Egypt with Gerard Butler for 2016.

 

As well as being the new face, Abbey Lee was hugely involved in the creative direction of the campaign and will showcase the many ways in which you can style your Supergas.

JACK GUINNESS FRONTS THE FIRST SUPERGA MENS CAMPAIGN
